Species Account
A small species endemic to southeast Queensland, Australia from Agnes Waters to the Gold Coast including Fraser, Moreton and North Stradbroke Islands. Fully aquatic in rivers, streams, lagoons and coastal blackwaters. Rostrum long and slender with a pair of well-developed spines near tip; body slender, chelae elongate with manus (palm) clearly longer than broad. Body greenish-grey or blue, brown or almost black (tannin-stained waters), underside of chelipeds blue. Length to 75 mm. — John W. Short, 2026
