
Davusia glabra (Shiny Bait Crab)
Species Account
A common rocky shore species endemic to southeast Australia. In pools and crevices in lower intertidal and shallow subtidal zones on exposed rocky shores. Carapace smooth, shiny, with sharp spines along lateral margins, legs with a single spine on the upper margin of the merus. Generally green or olive in colour. Body width to 40 mm. — John W.
