Macromedaeus crassimanus

Species Account

A wide-ranging Indo-West Pacific species found on lower intertidal and shallow subtidal rocky shores. Carapace finely granular, distinctly convex, regions separated by broad and shallow furrows; front narrow, divided into two lobes by V-shaped notch, outer angle of each lobe produced, creating 4-lobed appearance; anterolateral margins with 5 teeth (excluding the outer orbital angle).
