A total of 173 species of Crustacea have been identified from collections made during the survey. Of these, 151 belonged to the Order Decapoda. This is an increase on the previously highest number of decapods collected from the Kimberley region - 139 by Morgan (1992). Twenty-two species are new records for the Kimberley, with five species that will possibly prove to be new to science.
